Lake Charlegrark Country Music Marathon Information

WHAT ARE THE DATES OF 2025 LAKE CHARLEGRARK COUNTRY MUSIC MARATHON?

Friday 14th, Saturday 15th, Sunday 16th February.  Our event runs between the hours of 12noon Saturday to 1am Sunday and then again from 10am Sunday to 5.30pm Sunday.

The entertainment begins on Friday late afternoon, Friday Night ‘Weekend Warm Up’ Variety night with Rodney Vincent & Don Costa. On Saturday you will be entertained with country music artists til the late hours. Late Saturday night we have Oz Quo to keep you dancing under the stars.

WHO ARE THE ARTISTS?

2025 artists are our headliner duo Beccy Cole & Adam Harvey, as well as The Austins, Sandra Humphries, Connis Kis Anderson, Lance Birrell, Graeme Hugo, Don Costa, Leah Briggs, Rodney Vincent, Gavin Chandler, Oz Quo (late show Sat) | Backing Bands: Heartland and Roadhouse.

WHERE IS THE MARATHON HELD?

The Marathon is held at Lake Charlegrark, Minimay, Victoria, Australia, just 12kms from the Little Desert.   Approx 390km from Melbourne, and 360km from Adelaide.

WILL I BE ABLE TO BUY ALCOHOL AT THE MUSIC MARATHON?

Yes.  This event is licenced and reasonably priced.  You can bring your own alcohol for your camp area, however STRICTLY NO BYO or glass in the entertainment area.  ICE is available.

IS THERE FOOD AVAILABLE AT THE MUSIC MARATHON?

Yes, HEAPS OF FOOD!  We try to cater to suit everyone’s taste buds, and our food is very reasonably priced.  There will be steak sandwiches, roast lamb rolls, hamburgers, sausages, hot spuds, coffee van.  Food stalls are open from 11am until late Saturday, and on Sunday morning we have Bacon & Eggs, and the canteen is open until late afternoon.

ATM – CASH

It’s recommend that you come prepared, however we will have an ATM at the festival for you to draw out cash.

ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS?

This is an all ages event.  Kids under 15 years are free (must have ID).

WILL THERE BE SAFETY AND SECURITY?

Yes.

IS THERE ACCOMMODATION AVAILABLE?

ARE YOU ABLE TO CAMP IN THE AREA?

Camping on this weekend is for festival goers only and ALL campers MUST HAVE A WEEKEND PASS.  Camping on Foreshore needs to be booked via Lake Charlegrark Caravan Park.  These will be booked out quickly, but there’s ample space for FREE camping in the “Paddock” (no booking required but you MUST HAVE A WEEKEND PASS), open from Friday.  NOTE:  Camping in the paddock is at your own risk.  More info here.

DO I NEED A TICKET TO ATTEND THE MUSIC MARATHON?

Yes.  The tickets for the Weekend Pass are priced at $100 online (plus booking fee) or $120 at the gate on the day. It’s worth every penny considering the quality of entertainment on offer. The event promotes family-friendly values by offering free entry for children under 15 (with a student ID), making it a perfect family outing.

If you purchase a ticket online, please remember to bring your Barcoded E-Ticket with you for scanning at the entry gate.

This year, we will offer a special ticket price for the Late-comers Saturday night from 6.30pm onwards for $75, but entry to the event and the camping area must be after 6.30pm Sat, if you go for these tickets.

WHAT IF I CAN’T MAKE IT FOR THE WHOLE WEEKEND?

WILL THERE BE SEATING AVAILABLE?

There will be limited seating, however it is recommended that you bring your own, as there is plenty of space to spread out.

HOW DO I GET IN TO THE MUSIC MARATHON?

Entry points will be visible and clearly signed, with fences around the area or stages.

ARE THERE ARTIST SIGNINGS?

Yes. ‘Onsite Retail’ sell artist CD’s as well as host artist signing after their shows.

ARE THERE PUBLIC TOILETS?

There are public toilets blocks located throughout the area and also portable toilet areas.

IS THERE ANYTHING FOR KIDS TO DO?

Yes, this is a family-friendly music event for all ages, and we allow fishing, canoeing, kayaking, water activites (NO SPEED BOATS from 4pm Friday until after 5pm Sunday).

PETS

Pets are permitted at your campsite, kept on a leash, however they are NOT allowed in the entertainment area.
